Who are we?

As employees of Sunderland Counselling Service we are proud to work closely with the Occupational Health team to ensure employees of Sunderland Council and its partners receive the appropriate medical and psychological support for their needs.

More About Us

Occupational Health, at Sunderland Council, takes a holistic approach, focusing on your wellbeing and mental and physical health in the workplace.

The team consists of Doctors, nurses, physiotherapist, counselling team and admin support.

Our counselling team are all BACP registered and working towards accreditation.

“One of the important benefits of workplace counselling, is that we are able to see clients relatively quickly, often before distress becomes entrenched. The feedback we receive is incredibly positive and that is really important to all of us, as we can see we are making a difference.”
