Community CAMHS Counselling Service

The Community CAMHS Counselling Service [formerly Young Peoples Counselling Service] is based at Carley Hill Education Centre, Emsworth Road. Carley Hill, Sunderland.

The service is staffed by qualified counsellors who provide therapy over an agreed period of time for children and young people who are reacting to changes in their lives. Common themes are relationships, bullying, loss and traumatic events.

The counselling appointments are on an individual basis. If any one wishes to access counselling a referral is needed from someone in the health, education or social services via the established referral pathways. We also can provide training, consultancy for other organisations.

Community CAMHS Counselling adheres to City of Sunderland Safeguarding policies and procedures.
