Recruitment of New Trustees

Sunderland Counselling Services would like to recruit new trustees to the Management Committee which oversees the operation and development of this busy and well respected charity. We are looking for people with knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Leadership and strategic management – including:

• Project management
• Risk assessment and managemento Partnership working across sectors
• Relationship management with funders and key stakeholders
• Contract negotiation

Other skills/experience:

• Equal opportunities and diversity
• Monitoring / evaluating quality, services and projects
• Knowledge of local statutory sector
• Service user perspective
• Legal knowledge

Your Duties and Responsibilities

You would need to be prepared to make a commitment to attend one meeting of two hours duration every month. Reasonable out of pocket expenses will be paid but the post is a voluntary one.
